Real estate crowdfunding in Slovakia
Real estate crowdfunding is a modern form of collective investing into construction and development projects. You combine your capital with other investors and together take part in real estate projects that would be hard to access individually.
Through a digital platform, multiple investors put funds into a specific project. Once the construction is completed and the agreed targets are met, profits are distributed proportionally among all participants based on the size of their investment.
This model also enables people with smaller capital to invest in larger projects such as apartment buildings, residential complexes or refurbishments of existing structures — increasingly important in the context of urban and regional development across Slovakia.
Crowdfunding opens up the real estate market and makes it more accessible. It is no longer the privilege of large developers or investment funds — today anyone interested can take part.
